Specialty papers
We develop and produce specialty papers for a variety of applications. Originally, we started out as producers of hand-made paper and then moved on to deckle-edged paper and decorative paper. Today, we are the leading manufacturer of paintable wallcoverings. However, the specific features of wallcoverings made of paper or nonwoven make it easy to transfer our know-how to the production of other related products, such as papers with a high wet strength and opacity. Moreover, we are able to use recycled materials to a very large extent, thus opening up new sustainable possibilities - just put us to the test!

The German Paper Solution (GPS) is a 100% subsidiary of ERFURT & Sohn KG.
Since 1827, a large variety of specialty papers have been produced in our factory alongside the river Wupper, proving that paper-making has a long-standing tradition here.
